The Money Ballers swept the field on Friday during the Verus Kickball Tournament, led be decisive fielding and outstanding kicking. The championship game started with a defensive duel, and through three innings it was scoreless. Up to kick came Brent Nelson with two runners on after a pair of singles in the top of the fourth. Everyone knew the kick was gone over the left field fence right as it left his foot for his second homerun of the day to plate the first three runs of the game. But the game wasn't over, and the Triple Baggers came roaring back to take a one run lead in the sixth. Down by one in the seventh, the Money Ballers finished strong with three more runs to cap the tournament and seal the win. Congratulations, Money Ballers!
