You may not be the best bocce/bowling/mini-golf player, but as far as we’re concerned, that doesn’t mean that your team shouldn’t be able to challenge for a championship or win prizes. On top of the league championship for the winners, each of these sports also incorporates a “Spirit Champion”, so the team that is deemed the most fun is also crowned a champion.
Here’s how it works. Each night, the supervisor on hand will have a stack of Spirit Coupons that they will give out for the more spirited teams. Here are just a few examples that Spirit Coupons may be given out for:
Participating in Theme Nights
Singing
Dancing
Team Cheers
Cheering on Opponents
General Team Fun-ness
Keep in mind that this must all be genuine, pandering to the supervisor for Spirit Coupons or using the word “spirit” when asking for a coupon generally disqualifies you. It’s gotta come naturally.
The top 2-3 teams at the end of the season will be rewarded with prizes that in some cases are even better than what the league champs get. (Warning: Ties may result in a dance off between team members.)
