This weeks player of the week goes to CJ of "XFL". CJ started his day very early in the game with a Pick 6 to start his team off on top. The opponent did not go away and drove the ball well and scored a number of times. With "XFL" down late in the game under 2 minutes, CJ sealed the win for his team by ending the game like he started it a Pick 6 and the go ahead TD for his team. CJ had 3 TD's and earned this weeks honors as player of the week!
The Entourage was down to start the second half when Indy went on an unprecedented 14 minute drive to start the first half ending in an indy score and a 14 point lead. The Entourage would strike twice though in those remaining 6 minutes. Their comeback was capped with a Jonathan Wood touchdown with 6 seconds left to tie the score. Jonathan would come back with and catch the extra point in the corner of the end zone to cap pick up the victory.
This weeks player of the week goes to Julia Scott of "XFL". In a very tight game, Julia came up wit key receptions that moved the chains and helped XFL get into scoring position. With the 2 point victory, her 2 PAT's helped seal the deal for her team, and earn her player of the week! Great job Julia.
In a close back and forth game Atla Saldana's late game interception preserved Wacky Waving Inflatable Flailing Arm Tube People's 31-20 win over the Mud Dogs. With the score 24-20 and less than 2 minutes remaining, the Mud Dogs were driving for a go ahead soore when Alta came up huge with the interception. Wacky then scored a late touchdown to seal the win. The victory enabled them to keep pace with Sham Wow at 3-1, one game behind XFL in the league standings.
In a game that was close at halftime, Lindsey Hupt helped Sham Wow break it open in the 2nd half with a number of key catches and a touchdown catch. Sham Wow trailed early in the game, but capitalized on a couple of defensive stops and turnovers in the 2nd half. Lindsey led the offensive explosion with key catches on "forced gender" plays and then caught the go ahead touchdown that led to a lead that Sham Wow never relinquished. She also added a bloody nose to the Sham Wow cause. Great job Lindsey!
The Entourage forfeited to Wacky Waving Inflatable Flailing Arm Tube People.
POTW: erin jolley
the newbies
In a game that was tight the whole way, Erin Jolley led the Newbies to 34-27 victory over the Mud Dogs. Erin displayed some fine hands in catching a number of key passes, but really wowed the crowd with her arm. In two "forced gender" situations she showed a NFL (ok, USL) caliber arm, throwing two touchdown passes into the far corner of the end zone. These two TD passes were huge, especially when the game came down to the last Mud Dog possesion. The Newbies thwarted the Mud Dogs attempt at the tying touchdown from inside the numbers. With the playoff starting next week, the Newbies will need Erin's clutch throws to advance to the championship.

POTW: Kieth Green
ShamWow
Keith Green's 4 interceptions helped break open a close quarter final game, leading Sham Wow to a 36-22 win over Washington Cathedral. One of Green's interceptions was on a potential touchdown pass by Washington Cathedral and preserved Sham Wow's lead early in the 2nd half. Shaw Wow then marched down the field to score a touchdown and an insurmountable lead. Keith will need to keep up with his stellar defensive play in next weeks semifinal game if Sham Wow wants to advance to the Championship.
