The Six Pounders
Sarah and the Six Pounders didn't break any scoring records, but they had a great time bowling. Sarah rallied the troops and led a scoring assault in the middle frames of Game 2. The entire team went on a scoring tear, which was led by Sarah's turkey. During their frenzy there was lots of cheering, some Homer-Simpsoning, and even some making out with the wall. They had so much fun that bowlers from other lanes came over to watch the excitement.

Mike brought his A game on Monday night. In his first game his closed out 9 consecutive frames to score a 201. His opponent on the opposite lane bowled a 179 (the second highest pinfall of the night), so Mike came up big in an impressive duel.

Mike led his team to another victory in Game 2 with his 155.

Dirty Bird's Turkey Wins the Game!

How could it be that the #1 ranked team doesn't have a player of the week until Week 5?! However, better late than never!

Matt bowled a stellar 157 and 165 to lead the Dirty Birds to a 4-point night. Teammate Lisa actually matched Matt's total pinfall for the night, but it was Matt's turkey in Game 1 that really made the difference. He ended up closing out 13 frames on the night, which helped out because both games were very close!

Snakes on a Lane
Ryan really had a gutsy performance Monday night. Playing with a pronounced limp and wincing with virtually every bowl, Ryan played through the pain en route to ultimately winning the championship.

The pain of his torn calf muscle wasn't enough to dampen his spirits. In between turns he continued to laugh and carry on. He was also dressed in full space costume, complete with his head painted silver.
