Sometimes, at Underdog, we get a little too focused on the numbers. And a lot of good numbers were rolled down our alley on Monday. But Monday was 70's night, and nobody...well, nobody was feelin' the funk.

Except for Callie.

Callie not only dressed for the occasion, she brought a CD full of music that embodied the spirit of the 1970s. And given that she was born in the 80s, and not entirely sure what the spirit of the 70s WERE, well, let's just say we appreciate Callie going the extra mile.

And I like to think it was her soundtrack blaring over Sun Villa's speakers that propelled so many to such great scores on Monday. And for that, we are proud to name Callie Stout our Player of the Week.

We have had a very diverse group of bowlers here at Underdog. Black, White, short, tall. But never have we had an infant as a member of a team. Sure, the ball was bigger than him, and the ball only rolled about two feet before stopping dead in the middle of the lane, but hey-we got one early!

Callie got player of the week during our last theme week, when she brought funky 70s music for us to enjoy. This week, she gets it for being the ONLY person to dress up for Space Invaders week. For her efforts, she gets some lovely Underdog gear, and my eternal appreciation for always having the Underdog spirit in mind.
