The Lawn Wranglers got revenge for their rain-shortened regular season loss to the Dusky Knights and won the championship 25-5. The Knights were coming off a nine run, game tying seventh inning rally and win in the eighth and could not match the energy brought by the Lawn Wranglers. The Wranglers continued their big hitting from earlier in the day and put up 25 runs against a good Dusky Knights defense. The Wranglers supported their accurate and focused pitcher Dave Kerwin with excellent defense at every position. The Dusky Knights remained upbeat and got a couple long home runs from pitcher Ed Erickson, but could not put together another late-inning rally and the Lawn Wranglers clinched the victory.
