It was a great opening night Tuesday at Imperial Lanes. Underdog bowlers took over the alley with boisterous energy and the spirit competition already in full swing. The Empty Nesters came back for yet another bowling season and Captain Ventoza killed it! Beating out a lot of competition she bowled a 141 the first game and 100 the second, making her our player of the week! Keep up the good work Michelle!

This week's BOWLER of the week goes to Mitch B of The Odd Balls. Mitch bowled 2 amazing games. On one score sheet, it showed nothing but symbols instead of numbers. Spare, spare, spare, strike, strike, spare....where did the numbers go?? Not only was he ON in his bowling skills, he was also keeping the party alive on lanes 5 and 6. Great bowler who knows how to have a great time!

This weeks Top nerd is Ken A. from Ride em Rough. Ken was glowing in his nerd apparel, all the way down to the rainbow patterned suspenders. But it was Ken's performance in the second game that earns him this weeks Player of the Week. Ken blew the pins up on his way to a new personal best 208. With his team cheering him on it should be noted that John also put up a 198 giving him a honorable mention and a quick shout out. Great games both of you!

This week at Imperial Lanes was stellar as always, with teams trying to make their final pushes to get into the playoffs there was a plethora of excellent bowling, but one man shone brighter than the rest. Here at Underdog we obviously champion the underdog and those out to have a glorious time and this week that person was Michael B. For the first time Michael bowled a score that counted towards his team score! With a way better than mediocre 133 and 138, Michael proved that fun is first, bowling scores second. We salute you Michael, Underdog's Player of the Week!
