In what might have been the game of the millenium for Underdog Softball The Usual Suspects eeked out a 9-8 exra innings win to takes the softcore championship. After falling behind early 7-2, Buckleys Slammers chipped away at the lead drawing within 7-6 going into the final inning. Everying looked rosey as Calsee Robb from the slammers drove in 2 runs in the top of the 7th to go up 8-7. But it was Gordon Klug with the heroics for the Suspects, with a 2 out HR in the bottom of the 7th that had him just sliding underneath the tag of the catcher. Once the game went into extra innings, Rob Bendix sealed the deal with a single in the bottom of the 8th to secure the championship. whew....
