Summer Co-ed Softball at Lower Woodlands Fridays

This weeks player of the week goes to Matt H. for his solid pitching for 14 innings. Matt started the season off beating the strike-zone and helping his defense with his solid performance. Matt also made some great plays throwing out numerous players at 1st base, gloving tough shots up the middle. Matt also kicked in a bunch of RBI's along with a home-run that helped his team start the season 2 and 0. Great job Matt.

Jeff O. is this weeks elite player pitching 2 outstanding games. While pitching with a Ump behind the plate with a tight strike-zone, Jeff was still able to paint the corners. Jeff worked 2 full games and only allowed a total of 8 runs in both games. With a very solid defense behind him helping him out, he was able to get the ball in play and his squad cleaned up the rest. With Jeff's back to back wins on the mound earns him this weeks player of the week! Great games Jeff!

Not one player of the week, but 2 players. Camille and George of Sports! were the King and Queen of their game against Slap my Pitch Up. Camille played a huge role on D by keeping runners to the bare minimum of bases while playing center field. King George was clutch by hitting a 2 run homer to give his team the go ahead runs to win the game. Camille. George: The king and Queen of Underdog Friday Softball!

Chix and Stix absolutely tore it up on Friday night ripping off an amazing 27 runs against Sports. Nate was the man of the night batting 5 for 5 with a triple, 3 doubles a single and 7 RBIs. His play on defense was equally amazing playing lights out defense all game long. When his contract expires at the end of this season the team expects him to sign a long term deal that will keep him with the team through 2021.Great game Nate.
