Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Juanita HS Tuesdays

This weeks player of the week earned his honors in the last second of the game on the final play. With the score going into the final play 34 tp 30 Triple Ecks QB heaved one up down field hoping to find a receiver and a bit of a miracle. He did not find the receiver, but he did get his miracle. With great defense all game by Ladies and Gentlemen, they contested the final play almost to perfection knocking the ball down, but Ryan K. was ball hawcking and got the deflected pass. Ryan made a nice grab and finished it off with a 6 yard run for a game ending miracle play for a 36 to 34 victory. Great play Ryan!

With a great TD reception in the first half on a Bomb thrown down field Krystal became the front runner for Player of the Week early. In the previous play EBK was near their own goal-line and threw a pass down field to one of their better guy receivers who had trouble handling the pass for an incomplete. EBK ran the same play with Krystal who streaked down the field leaving the defenders behind her and made a great reception for a touchdown. Krystal didn't stop there as she was the key reciever with lots of catches keeping the offense marching up and down the field. Great game Krystal!

Mike R. is this weeks player of the week for his offensive output reeling in 2 TD's. On a team that has many receiving threats, Mike was the key receiver on the night bringing in great catches running full speed. One of the TD catches was with very tight defensive coverage the length of the field and Mike made the catch and crossed the goal-line for 6. Great game Mike and keep it up!

This weeks player of the week earned it after regulation time was over, and OT started. In the toughest battle of the night XFL and Here for Beer went back and forth with excellent offenses and stingy defenses. At the end of the game the score was tied 36 to 36, and both teams were ready for more. XFL came out blazing with a TD but could not convert the PAT. Here for Beer answered with a TD, and that's when Kevin came up big. With a very tight defense Kevin was able to make a toe-tapping sideline catch with a little bobble, but reeled it in for the win, and his team advanced. Great game to both teams.
