With less than 2 minutes to go in the game Steve and his team were losing by less than a TD. Steve lined up and went out for a pass by the sideline. The QB threw the ball his way. Steve made a spectacular catch. He then started to head out of bounds but before he did he made an aggressive move to the inside and spun by the defensive player. He then had nothing but open Field in front of him. He took it all the way in for the score and left the defense in the dust. It put his team up. Steve also had a spectacular night on defense. He had several defensive tips which prevented the other team from scoring. This why Steve is our player of the week.

Ryan played his heart out. Because he played so well he was rewarded with 3 INT. It did matter what the QB did. The QB threw high and he threw low. Even tried to throw out of bounds. But it didnt matter. Ryan just would put his hands up and Intercept the ball. Congrats to Ryan for being our player of the week.

Uncle Rico
Under the bright lights of Juanita High School, in the final game of the evening, Dave Lake led his blind uncle Rico to victory against Avenue A. Dave led a dilapidated squad of only 6 men with consistently finding open spots in the larger defensive. Not only did he create most of Rico's points, he also came up with a diving sack with under 30 seconds left to get the ball back with his team down by one point. Blind Uncle Rico, eventually scored the winning TD and extra point, proving it's not the size of the dog, but how big his head is.

They never knew that someone could intercept balls so many times then turn around and score touchdowns. Nick's defense sparked Uncle Rico to victory.
