Google came into this league on fire going 4-1 in the regular season. In fact, Google didn't even lose a single set until the 4th week of regular season play. This team grabbed the attention of all the teams in the league because of their stellar play and amazing team work. There was absolutely no weaknesses on this team. On the 5th week of the season, Google looked to be exposed when We Dig 4 Play beat Google in Straight sets to end their undefeated streak.
When playoff time came around, Google was looking to bounce back in a major way, and they did just that. Google beat both Sex, Drugs and Volleyball and Not Lying Our Giant is Really Gone in straight sets to set up a rematch against We Dig 4 Play.
In what may be the game of the season, Google and We Dig 4 Play traded off sets to set up a grueling final set. Being down late in the last set, Jacob from Google took the game into his own hands. Jacob spiked Google back into the game tying it up at 19-19. Both teams showed heart as they kept trading off the points until Google proved they had just a little more left winning the game 24-22.

They have 99 Problems but winning a championship definitely isn't one! 99 Problems but a Beach Ain't One was one of the most relaxed teams in the league. They came out with one thing on their mind and that was to have fun! Going 2-4 int he regular season, you wouldn't have thought that this team could actually compete for a championship, but they sure did. When it came to playoff time, 99 Problems... still had fun, but did it by winning! They took care of Seattle V.C. in straight sets then beat Only Our Drinks Are Spiked 2-1. This set up a entertaining match up against Cocktails & Dreams.
After trading off the first two sets it all came down to the last set for the championship. 99 Problems stepped up their defense by not allowing Cocktails & Dreams to score off any spikes. After taking a huge lead in the last set, 99 problems never looked back and put away their opponents 21-10, winning the Late Summer Softcore Championships.
