Setting Ducks started as an Indy team with Underdog, and now are their own team and bonding better than ever! Celebrating their first win with Underdog, this whole team supports each other and cheers everyone on. They've shown their honesty on the court and are a great team to play! Keep it up, Setting Ducks!
Melissa was such a team player tonight! She communicated with her teammates and set them up for some great attacks! She didn’t fail to take a few of her own either! She found some holes in the other teams defense at crucial times during the game. Not only was she killin it on offense, but she wasn’t afraid to hit the floor on defense. Way to hustle Melissa! Congrats on being player of the week!
Tala was rocking it tonight with her serves! She brought the team back from behind from 19-24 to 24-24. Talas team, Dat Ace Though, then pulled through and finished out the game with a win at 27-25! Tala’s serves we’re crucial to their comeback. Way to crush it under pressure Tala! Congrats on being player of the week!
Morgan came to win with a smile on her face and her team by her side. Even through the heat, Morgan never stopped hustling and had some amazing plays because of it. Some great serves and saves lead her team to victory, all while cracking jokes in between plays. Way to go, Morgan!
Kayleigh had a great game this week, serving up some sweet hits and hustling all over the court. Her aggressive net play and high spirits inspired her team to try their hardest and share a few laughs along the way. Fantastic job this week, Kayleigh !
Tim rose to stardom playing for his team, Dat Ace Though tonight. He used his height and his quickness to save balls his other teammates couldn’t get to. In the middle back, he sprinted to the front row to save a short ball. He could even jump up at the net and place the ball just about wherever he wanted. And his serves? Magnificent. For saving the day and being a major asset to his team, Tim is our player of the week! Congratulations!
Iris brought her hammer arm tonight! Her serves were extraordinary in the championship game and was a major key to their success. Floppy Balls turned to Iris when they needed a reliable server. And she served tough. Her team would not have had such a triumphant win without her power and accuracy. Congratulations to our player of the week, Iris “ACE” Ng!
