Spring Midcore Volleyball at First Baptist Wednesdays

Alex of Key++ was a major x-factor in his game tonight. His consistency really stood out on the court. Not only did he serve up countless aces but never missed a single one. He was one of his team’s main line of offense, recording kill after kill on the outside and in the middle. For outpassing, outhitting, and out serving the competition, Alex is our player of the week. On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when DJ of Put Your F***ing Hair Up transcended volleyball with his incredible performance. Consistently, Put Your F***ing Hair Up turned to DJ when they needed someone to provide the perfect set. Time and time again, DJ answered the call, recording set after beautiful set and jaw-dropping kills at the net along the way. The awe-inspiring moment came in their second set when DJ, ready at the net, sought out the opportunity to power hit an overpass straight down, earning a kill for his team. For his diligent and triumphant performance, DJ is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
