Winter Midcore Co-ed Volleyball at First Baptist Wednesdays

The Indy team this season has really came out to win it. Playing with people you just met is pretty hard, but Not In The Face! bonded on the court in the first game. This week the light shined when Jessica got hit in the face by a Spiked Punch kill. The only thing she had to say was "Not In The Face!" Way to stick it to the man!

Kojo Ries was not going to take no for an answer tonight. Block n' Balls played Shankopotamus tonight, which put Kojo right up against Kit Lee in the middle front position. In the first game it seemed like nothing Kojo hit would break through Kit's massive blocks, but in the second game Kojo broke through a double block and set the pace for the third set. Kojo's commitment and unwillingness to back down makes him player of the week for Underdog!

Gavin Tucker has played every season I have been at Underdog. And in every game he ceases to amaze me with how much will power and determination he has at becoming the best in the league. Spiked Punch, as a whole, works hard to play their best and improve with every game. But without Gavin they wouldn't be where they are today. He never gives up and always aims for something better to achieve.

The M's have been working hard this entire season to perfect their rotation and positions that each of them play. But tonight was more than any of them could ask for. Tonight was the best game I have seen in a very, very long time. The intensity in the gym could have been sliced with a knife! With Morgan killing the ball so hard I was utterly amazed when Damaged Goods was able to dig it up. Morgans kills tonight definitely set the pace for The M's and gave them the motivation they needed to get through the game. Even though they didn't come out with a win, I could tell from all their faces that they knew they all played their hearts out; especially Morgan. I can't get over those crazy good kills!!
