Marsha Swatosh
Marie and Friends
Marsha was an absolute ball magnet. She caught every ball that came her way in right center field. In the last inning every single ball was kicked to her and she made every out. She did a fantastic job covering the biggest part of the field for her team. And she batted 1000.

Tyler Petersen
Snitches Get Pitches
Tyler had an absolutely amazing catch in the outfield. Everyone thought that he was just going to play it safe off the bounce, but he had something more daring in mind. He went horizontal and made an insane diving catch to keep their opponents from having any chance at making a comeback. It was absolutely stunning and we all took a moment to fully appreciate what we had just witnessed.

Mercedes Valles
Wall Street Ballers
Mercedes Valles was a terror on the basepaths for the Wall Street Ballers on Monday. Following an injury to one of her teammates, Mercedes was called on to serve as a courtesy runner twice in the late innings. Mercedes dazzled with her speed, scoring two runs in a decisive victory for Wall Street.

So committed
Sensual Winnebagoes
The player of the week was Emily Gilbert who was not only committed to the team, but contributed on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Emily came into this game looking to contribute like every other member on her team and came out as the best player this week with a dominanting perfromance.

Kate Harris
Anuroop There It Is
Kate Harris was a defensive star on Wednesday night for Anuroop There It Is. The first basemen made several catches, including one impressive over the shoulder in foul territory. Kate's defense paved the way for an easy victory for her squad.

Pascal Killing It in Left!
This week, Pascal takes home POTW honors for making tons of impressive catches in left field. It is inarguably the hardest part of the field to defend at Denny park, but she did so excellently! For her lockdown defense, Pascal is our POTW. Congratulations!

All Star Throw
Marie and Friends
Alex Barnes from Marie and Friends has earned player of the week honors. Throughout the game Alex got on base early and often with great kicks! The play of the game for Alex was on defense when he threw the ball in from the outfield and got a runner out before they made it home! Somebody should sign this guy cause he's a gamer. Alex will look to have these same plays when playoffs roll around.

Jim Blue
Sensual Winnebagoes
With his team down by 3 in the bottom of the 4th inning, Jim provided Sensual Winnebagoes with a much needed spark. Once the ball was kicked, Jim was caught in a pickle between 3rd base and home plate. Incredibly, he dodged the throw from the catcher and made it home to start the rally. Jim finished out the game with 4 runs and 3 RKIs. Great job Jim!

Camie Mamer
Marie and Friends
Camie proved herself as the best friend of Marie on Monday. In a tightly fought game with a couple of lead changes, Camie turned in 2 great double plays on defense. One of the 2 came with the bases loaded to preserve her teams lead. Camie and her squad look to continue their great play in the postseason.
The Sensual Winnebagos got off to an impressive start in their playoff opener on Wednesday. Playing as the 2 seed, they showed they are a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball. On offense they put up an impressive 19 runs, while putting up a shutout on defense and not allowing a runner past 2nd base. With play like this, these guys and gals may be destined for a title.
Stephen Shi was the only player in Denny's kickball playoffs to come close to a home run. And oh how close he was! He rocketed a kick off the top of the fenceline, which juuuuussst landed back in play. It was only good for a double, but he brought a run home! For giving us our longest kick of the day, Stephen is our player of the week. Congratulations!
