This weeks player of the week goes to Vince Fosness for his huge play at the end of a very tight game. With 1 person on base and 2 outs Vince hit a shot deap to left-field that sent the defense chasing, but they could not coral it soon enough and Vince rounded the bases. With his two run homer his team won with a walk-off and their first win! Great job Vince!

POTW: Katie Sweet
Low Expectations - Indy #1
This weeks player of the week goes to Katie Sweet and her outstanding catches in left-center. Katie had multiple catches on the run, and a couple of diving catches. She stunned her team, the opponent, and all on-lookers with her excellent defense! Great job Katie and keep it up!
This weeks player of the week goes to Samuel Salustro for his excellent defense in a very tight game. It was his defense that helped keep the score low and help put another "W" in the winners column! Great game Samuel!
In the final match of this brisk "spring" evening it was Trupanion taking on How Do You Like Your Eggs In The Morning. This match-up was a passionately contested one with one team jumping out with a couple runs and the other team answering back. In this game however it would be one inning which would bust the doors open. It's fitting that the player to drive in the most runs with one sweep of his leg is also the player with the most nicknames of the evening. His teammates call him J-Mar and The Gardner among many other things, but no matter what you call him in the end Jason Martin is Player of the Week-Mar for his game changing Grand Slam to determin the winner in a 14-10 final! Congrats to Trupanion and Jason Martin!

POTW: Kathleen Moser
Ball Busters
In the very best (and only) game of the night it was the Ball Busters taking on Kick In A Box. Due to technical difficulties the lights were not to come on this evening so this game had to be played fast & furious in a race against daylight! This game came all the way down to the wire not only on visibility but on the scoreboard as well. In the bottom of the final inning with the score tied up & two outs, it was the Ball Busters' own Kathleen Moser who provided the difference with her aggressive baserunning from 3rd base as Kick In A Box's efforts just barely fell short with a close play at first. Congrats to Ball Busters on their dramatic victory & to Kathleen Moser on her Player of the Week!
On Tuesday night it was Low Expectations (Indy 1) taking on How Do You Like Your Eggs In The Morning. This game was close from the first kick to the last, but in the end it would be Low Expectations taking home the victory. While this game had a lot of back-and-forth, there was one player who put on a clinic for being rock solid on defense. That would be none other than Low Expectations' own Sarah Shiflet who had 2nd base on lockdown. Not only did she catch every throw from her teammates, but she made some great catches for outs when the opposing offense would try to slam one up the middle or shoot the gap. She was all over the place & helped her team to a 10-8 win! Congrats to Sarah Shiflet, Player Of The Week!

POTW: Andy Bren
Trupanion
In the Championship game Andy Bren had first base on lockdown! With solid play & spectacular catches to silence any chance of a comeback he helped set the tone for his team all game long. His ironclad play at first was only bested by his smart & aggressive baserunning. It seemed like every inning he was giving his team the best chance to score runs & limit their opponent. Congrats to Trupanion on their Championship run and to Trupanion's Andy Bren the Player of the Week!
