The gentle showers of the evening Puget Sound drizzle could not rain on the parade of One Night Stand and their path to a championship Monday night at Golden Gardens. Seeming to almost draw raw power from the sometimes downpour conditions, Rafael had a marqee night over the six greuling games played hitting over .500 and chalking up 24 kills for the one nighter's. Appreciating that no one hits the all well without a great set, Rafael was quick to pass the praise for the night to his setter Keri who set the kind of balls that can make any hitter look good. Ending the season with the highest assist percentage acrross the league, Kari was the hands down, no-brainer pick for player of the championship match. Looks like we can look forward to the return of One Night Sand next season as the champs opted for the discount on a future registration. Does anyone smell a dynasty?
