Spring Softcore Kickball at Lower Woodlands Tuesdays

Breana was taking no crap at second base today. She wouldn't let a ball go by. 3 balls went up and 3 outs went down. There was no getting on base with Breana touching the ball. Even if they made it to first she never let them pass second. Great defense and awesome catches in bad conditions!!!

Great moments are born from great opportunity! Jeffery and the Wunderbunts were facing a formidable opponent today and seemed to be in a close battle. The Wunderbunts were going into the 6th inning down by one run. Quickly the Wunderbunts occupied 1st and 2nd, and then Jeffery came up to kick. He nailed the ball into the outfield for a home run to take the lead. The rest of the Wunderbuts cought fire and capped the inning with 9 runs and held onto the lead through the 7th! Great kickin Jeffry!

This week, Sean was a catalyst for excellent defense and enjoyment of the game of kickball. In a tightly contested playoff match, Sean made the play of the game, recording an out at 3rd and then firing a rocket to second base in order to roll two baserunners and get his team out of a jam. Sean continued this string of excellent play well into his team's second game. Moreover, Sean was constantly encouraging his teammates, joking around, and helping everyone have a good time. For being the most talented fielder and providing the most fun for everyone on his team, Sean is our player of the week. Congratulations!
