Icy Mike Ditka's dominate on defense, claim league title
After opening-season loss, team pulls off 8 straight wins in route to championship

What a season it was for the Icy Mike Ditka's. After losing in their first game of the season, they reeled off 5 straight regular season wins to claim the top seed in the bracket heading into the playoffs.
On championship Thursday, they really shined both on offense and defense. Their offense was unstoppable in a semifinal game against Ooooowweeee as Corey G threw for 6 TD's against 0 INTs. That set up a rematch with Boolin, who were coming off of a last-second entire field length TD to win their semifinal against Blue and Green. Icy Mike's had handled Boolin earlier in the season, handing them their worst loss in team history (!!!).
The championship game is where the defense really got going. Regan M had 4 interceptions, including 2 heartbreakers in the endzone. They controlled the pace all game and never wavered, winning the championship in grand fashion. A championship well deserved, and a rivalry that isn't quite done yet.
