Fall Co-ed Softball at Hamlin Park Saturdays

This weeks player over achiever goes to Brent Powell and his hitting expedition. Brent rattled the fence with hard shots from the plate. He found every gap and was able to put 2 new homers in his stats, while his batting average also grew. Brent went 5 for 5 and was the offensive boost his team needed in a game that was close until the end. Great game Brent!

Jeff Silva and the long ball earned this weeks player of the week. Jeff cranked two homers over the deep fence of Hamlin Park, helping knock in runs for his team. With patients at the plate, never swinging at the first pitch, Jeff got a couple of pitches in his wheel house and sent them flying well into the trees in left-center. The opposing team even applauded his power, and gave him plenty of respect playing close to the fence his next few times up. With the big hits, Jeff is the player of the week!
