Fall Softcore Kickball at Ballard Boys and Girls Club Sundays

Abdullah had a tremendous game on both sides of the ball. Behind the plate he showed off his soccer skillz, spraying kicks all over the field. In the outfield, he shut down the opponents longball game snaring anything he came close to.

Marvi had a sensational game. A complete stopper at shortstop, she drew the applause from onlookers a few times with stop defensive plays. On the kicking side, she placed bunts and got on base repeatedly as well as serving as a pinch runner for her injured teammate. Great game Marvi!

In a close game you need to produce runs and get outs. That can be hard to do because you know the pressure is on during every play, and your nerves can get the best of you. Heather Cook has nerves of steel and ice water running through her veins. She made the catches when they came to her and did everything it took to secure the out, using her leg as a third arm to make a catch. Heather also got on base and scored one of the three runs her team got that game. Its safe to say that Heather is clutch. Great job Heather!

Ryan, along with POTG Brian, combined to shut down the long ball kicks and contained the Pups offense. Twice he killed rallies that threatened their lead. Great championship game Ryan!
