What a great night of bowling. In game one of the Championship round all players broke 100, leaving the scoreboards scattered with X's and /'s....and Eric from "North City Lounge Thirsty Turtles" even bowled a near perfect game; he closed every frame with a strike with the exception of 2 and ended with score of 279, just 21 away!!!!!! After all scores we tabulated, it was "Bowl Movement" and "The Big LeBOWLskis" who advanced to the final game! Though "Bowl Movement" insisted that there must have been a mistake, they were in pure shock with their victory!
Game two went about the same as game one with strikes and spares galore! In the end it was the astonished "Bowl Movement" who walked away as Big Turkey champs. The celebration was epic. One player told me "we don't even really like to bowl, we just like to dress up and win prizes!" Well, not only were they league champions, they came in second place for Spirit tickets. Hey guys, make sure to wear your champs shirts when you go see a movie with your Big Picture tickets!!!
Congratulations to "North City Lounge Thirsty Turtles" on taking home the Spirit victory. You guys were amazing all season! Enjoy your meal/drinks at Bills off Broadway!!!
