Fall Midcore Volleyball at First Baptist Wednesdays

Over The Top deserve some huge props for playing not one but TWO tough matches tonight, back to back nonetheless! Ok, so they didn't exactly win, but that last match against Damaged Goods must have been the best in Underdog history! Or, at least the top 3... This team fought hard tonight, had fun and showed everyone what being an Underdog is all about!

This week, Tip 2 Tip's Becky earns the much relished title of Player of the Week! Her solid presence on the court helped her team roll over their opponent. Her serves were killer, her setting was fluid and she kept the ball in play at all cost.

Somehow Sean has perfected the over the head, sideways, swipe hit and used it against Murphy's Team over and over last night! He's a wall to hit against and you can actually see the fear in his opponent's eyes when they go up against him. Last night Sean proved himself to be a smart player as well, using short tips and pushing the ball to the back line to keep the other team scrambling to keep up!

Happy Ending certainly has some tricks up their sleeves. Nearing the end of the season these suprises are finally coming out to the open. When Bob gets ready to set up his teammate in an ultamite smack down kill everyone on and off the court knows something bigs going to happen. It's putting the sting in pepper when Bob matches up with his teammate Erik with a short set and kill right into the throats of the other team. Hands down this man has some skillzz.
