Tenacious D could easily give these West Coast football teams a run for their money in their pass heavy offensive attack. Dominating on both sides of the ball with the help of Kalina Hartlipe (4 receptions, 10 tackles) and Courtney Butorac (2 TD's), Tenacious D inked their name in the record books. What looked to be a close matchup in the semis with "Show Us Your TD's" turned into a runaway midway through the 2nd half, with Tenacious winning 29-12. The championship game would prove to be much more difficult. Max Burt and company (West Canaan Coyotes) were awaiting the winners in the championship ring after a hard-fought 27-18 win over Primetime. With the top two tournament seeds battling it out in the finals, offense was the name of the game, with Tenacious D having the final say in a 34-27 win. Great season!
