Winter Co-ed Flag Football at Juanita HS Tuesdays

Timing is everything, as Brenda and her team Triple Ecks can tell you from their season opening victory over the Wolfpack. Brenda might have started the game a little rough, not coming through with a couple of first half catches (have to say though, the defense was on point!), but she made it count when it mattered most. Let me paint the situation: Tie ball game, 3rd down and goal from the 3 yard line, 2 seconds on the clock. QB rolls right, runs left, finds Brenda in the corner of the endzone and she hangs on for the game winning score. Congrats to Triple Ecks and Brenda!

Team Jonathan built up a big lead Tuesday in large part due to the all-around play of Jen. She snagged a couple of TDs, a few big extra point conversions and an interception. If not for her big game, the squad would not have been able to hold on and come home with the victory. Great job Jen!

In a back and forth high scoring battle, Kristen pulled off the play of the night, nay the year. After the defense picked off a two point conversion, Kristen ran down the returner who not only was the fastest guy on the team but also had a 20 yard head start. An amazing play and fantastic jets earns Kristen the Player of the Week nod.

In a game where every point mattered, Mike came up with a huge game to lead Bloodbath to a much-needed playoff victory. Grabbing three of his team's five touchdowns, Mike put up an MVP-caliber performance in the semifinals to easily snag Player of the Week honors!
