Liquor Softballs Reign in Championship
Greenlake Sunday Champs Brave Weather for the History Books

The rain came and went, leaving both fields and players drenched, but that didn't stop Liquor Softballs on their quest for the Sunday League championship. Softballs made quick work of Spoons n Scoons, dominating the offensive battle 15-12. As Softballs finished the game, their soon to be final opponents Beer Batters also paved their way to the championship with an 11-5 win over the Upper Deckers. But little did the Beer Batters know that secret weapon Todd Kleinbrook would hit perfect for the day, 9-9, and shut them down offensively from the mound. Beer Batters held the lead early on, but it was the Liquor Softballs who prevailed on the rain swept field with a score of 21-13. Congratulations on a great season Liquor Softballs!
