After a solid regular season, Dino Nuggets turned on the gas when the playoffs started. After lighting up the first round with 43 points, the Nuggets did not slow down in the championship game.
Facing the top-seeded Bad Assets, the Nuggets pulled off the upset as they controlled the tempo and notched 31 points and another double-digit victory. Congrats to the Dino Nuggets and a much deserved Underdog title!
Behind the steady hand of John guiding the offense, Dino Nuggets secured their first ever Underdog championship this week. With four touchdown passes, John helped maintain an insurmountable lead even as the opponent tried to get back in the game. Great job to John and the entire Dino Nuggets squad!
Megan absolutely balled out tonight with her biggest highlight coming on special teams for her punt return. Megan caught a deep punt and was met with a swarm of defenders and looked to be caught dead to rights. But she shimmied, she shook, she just moved those hips and kept the legs pumping and found a hole, outrunning all of the defenders to the endzone. A punt return in Underdog is a rare way to score but Megan is a rare talent that looks to put her stamp on the league.
