It was a chilly night out in Seattle last night, but in the cover of West Seattle Bowl, the lanes were a-blazin' for the championship night! In the semi final games, The Sea of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops and Body by Bowling challenged their supervisor by bowling a tie score game. After recalculating and recalculating, it was indeed a complete tie, and required a tie breaking high score from a fellow team member. Honorable mention of the night has to go to the Sea of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops, as the Prof, left only one frame open in his two games that fateful night, I hope I am one day that skilled. The championship game came down to You Don't Actually Blow and Body by Bowling, and that too was a nail bitting game. In the end You Don't Actually Blow pulled through and took the W. I believe that Championship win this was in some way attributed to the unbelievable dancing skills displayed by Joe, he performed the sprinkler, the moonwalk the roger rabbit, and I am sure that is intimidating. If not the dancing, the loud slow clap sure is. In the end, it was an amazing night at West Seattle Bowl and to all those who missed it, I say, shame on you.
Joe showed tremendous spirit and carried his team to the high-fiving, wave-receiving, champ-shirt wearing win! Joe brought his A game from the second he walked through the door with his mask of intimidation. He had a theme song to up the ante, and his mad dancing skills were displayed on all of the lanes!
This weeks bowler of the week goes to Michelle of the "You don't actually blow". IT was her solid bowling this night that helped her team win. She was the leader of her team, and helped keep the team average up in a close match with "Britney spares". It was a great match, and solid bowling, great job Michelle, excellent 160 in the second game!
