Stranger Danger is in the house and they are looking to make some noise as we approach the playoffs. Yesterday they played inspired and just hammered the softballs into submission. Their agrresive base running, their hot bats and their pitching is a thing of beauty. They are tough and they will not be bullied by any teams in the league. They sent a message loud and clear to ICP that they are the top dogs and they are gunning for a title. Great win Stranger Danger
It is often believed that swinging a big stick is the most valuable skill a softball player can posses. The true fact of the matter is defense wins ball games, and with defense like Deaira's it becomes very hard not to win. Teams better think twice before they hit the ball even remotely in her direction.
Well the first night of the league is underway and a couple of teams have already separated themselves from the pack. Stranger Danger is the real deal and a tough match for any team in this league. When you can generate 32 runs in 5 innings says to teams that you are for real and are to be taken seriously. Led by the hot bat of Liesl who batted 4 for 4 with 2 triples and only missing the cycle by a homerun, this team turned it up early and often and didn't let up. Very impressive opening night game. Great win and great performance by Liesl.
