There's always something crazy going on at Imperial Bowling, but Paula from "5 Beers and a Water" may have set a new golden standard. With her team trailing going into the final frame, Paula was the last player on team to bowl. Paul responded by rattling off not one, not two, but THREE strikes in a row, a one-frame Turkey elevating her score from 80 to an impressive 110! Friend and competitor alike erupted into cheers, scores of high-fives were shared, and "5 Beers and a Water" walked off with a clutch victory. Congrats, Paula, for being named an Underdog Player of the Week!
Opening Night at Imperial was filled with hooting and hollering and good cheer from everyone, especially 5 Beers and a Water. Ultra supportive and a fun loving group they are clearly a team to watch for the Spirit Competition this season. With Brett on the helm it also looks like they will be contenders for the Championship as well. Brett was the key player of the night with a 139 and a 177, making it a close match against Finger Holes and squeaking out 1 point for his team! Congrats Brett on being Player of the Week!
