Profesionally Drunk went into the playoffs as the lowest seeded team, but came out on top on Sunday. A 5 run 3rd inning put them ahead of Park Pub for a lead that they would never relinquish. Jim Keppler's pitching helped keep Park Pub at bay for the rest of the game, and he also helped his owen cause with a pair of doubles.
In the championship game, it was time for a hard fought battle between them and TapouT. After falling behind 8-14 in the 3rd inning, their bats came alive, putting up a 5 run 4th inning to close the gap to 1 run. They would later tie the game and take a 3 run lead. In the bottom of the 7th though, TapouT threatened to take over. After scoring 2 runs to pull within one, they would fly out to the right fielder with the winning run in scoring position.
Brian's stellar defense at 3rd base helped Proffesionally Drunk hold off the Belly Itchers. Brian made some amazing catches, diving for a foul pop up, and also diving to stop several balls from reaching the outfield.
