Notes

First Place

Spring Softcore Kickball at Denny Park M/W

Richard Kixon showed great poise in their championship game after they went down 2-0 in the first. The game was close until the 5th inning when their offense clicked and they went up 10-2. Amholes rallied to get 3 runs in the 6th with no outs. Richard Kixon maintained composure and quickly got the remaining outs and finished the game strong. It was an excellent championship game and a well deserved win for Richard Kixon. Congratulations Richard Kixon!

Kevin Hawkins

Richard Kixon

"Big Catch" lived up to his nickname once again as he was an unstoppable force in right field. In the semi-final game, Kevin used every inch of his long reach to secure at least 6 catches for outs. He was also involved in a key double play early in the game when Balls Deep had the bases loaded and looked primed to get some runs on the board [but they didn't]. On offense, Kevin's monster kicks sent the outfielders back, back, back to fence, ending up with 5 RBI's and 2 runs scored in the big win for Richard Kixon.

Richard Kixon Kixons past the first round

Richard Kixon deserves a lot of credit for this first round win. They battled through adversity in some difficult plays during the first few innings with a competitive Millennium Monsters team. The continued to battle through some tough calls by the ump. Richard Kixon came to play and remained positive to the win. Great Job this week Richard Kixon!

Will Bull

Richard Kixon

Will B. is a team leader in most stats weekly for his squad, as it appears kickball comes easy for him. On this week Will earned his honors with a sweet play from 3rd base to get a very fast runner out at first. A great bunt was put down and Will came sprinting in as the gal who kicked it was very fast, Will calmly decided to just kick it to first base and with perfect accuracy was able to get the out, all while making it look very easy. Great play Will!
