Bush's Magic Jesus Ninjas had their best game of the season in the championship game, and managed a 6-3 win over a determined Crush team. Passing was the key, as BMJN moved the ball around the field to find openings in the defense. The semifinal between Crush and Look at My Shorts was also exciting. Look at My Shorts seemed to dominate on time of possession and shots on goal - but numerous shots were just wide.
Daniel Glover and Tae Fant had the goals - but it was the team passing of Bush's Magic Jesus Ninjas that won the game.
In my opinion, everyone on team Bush's Magic Jesus Ninjas should get POTW. As a team short on players with some talent-lacking recruits, Bush's Magic Jesus Ninjas stepped up their game to a new level. after a dissapointing 4-1 first half, they picked it up and, fueled by some crazy morale boosting cheers by un-named sources, scored goal after goal, finishing the game with a 5-5 tie. Alas, only one can take home the prize of POTW, and it goes to Abdul Habachi. He's an amazing leader on the team, a great goal scorer, with "shake and bake" moves, and a concrete solid wall of defense. It's about time he gets POTW!!!
