Will was helped out by his defense in this near shut-out. He pitched a brilliant straight ball that allowed the ball to be put in play so that he fielders could do what they do best, make plays.
In a 7-1 win, Amy McKenna provided all the inspiration that the Volleyball Misfits needed. Early in the game, Amy's aggressive play led to an injury which sidelined her, however her teammates picked up the pace and cruised to a win.
