Turkey Snazzlers

In the semi-final game, Ben with his "Gilligan" hat (worn to throw off the opponent), led his team on both sides of the ball. His athletic ability and speed in LF led to so many catches that we lost count. He also had some big kicks, with 5 RBI's and 3 runs scored, making him responsible for over half his team's runs.

He continued making great plays in the finals, but the Lebowski's would not be fooled by the 'hat' and quickly learned to keep their kicks away from him. He added 2 more RBI's and 2 more runs scored, but alas, it would not be enough as the Snazzlers ended up a run shy of sending the championship game to extra innings.

Karl Vogel

Turkey Snazzlers

Karl led his team to a win with some great pitching and even greater power offense. His ability to quickly pick up bunts and make accurate "rocket" throws to first kept the opposition on the bench instead of on the base pads.

On offense, Karl had a 3-run triple which he followed with a nice HR kick for a total of 8 RBI's in the game. I think he remembered to hit the bar after the game this week and it really paid off with a big playoff victory for the Snazzlers.
