Kim Pham came with lots energy and enthusiasm for the night. Not only does Pham bowl some good games by bowling couple strikes, but she is a good team player. She is positive, energetic, fun, and passionate player who brings all these qualities to her team. Overall, Pham loves having a good time at Underdog Wednesday Night bowling night and she looks forward to it every week. Congrats Kim Pham for getting player of the week!
The first night of Late Fall Big Turkey Bowling at Imperial Lanes started off right! We had quite a few returning teams that greeted each other and caught up on happenings from the summer...and there were quite a few new faces as well to bring fresh energy and excitement to the evening.
We had a lot of strong teams and a lot of shining stars; but there was one that stood out more than the rest. This particular player apparently is quite excited for Thanksgiving, because he had turkey on the brain!! Nick Terzopoulos came limping in with a bum...leg?knee?ankle?(you can never tell with him)...but his softball injuries didn't slow him down.
Nick had a bit of a 'slow' star on the first game, only scoring one turkey and walking away with an overall of 187. It was his second helping that was piled high with the turkeys. Nick finished off strong with a strike in the 7th frame...and the 8th...and the 9th...and, you guessed it, a turkey in the 10th frame. His amazing 6-strike streak brought him a score of 228, which he magically transformed into a 205, to help lead lead Lucky Strike to a 4-0 win over I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter. Great job, Nick!
