Notes

First Place

Fall Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Tuesdays

After picking up only two victories in the regular season, the Mis-Conceptions faced an uphill battle in the playoffs as they had to play two higher seeds on the night.

First up was Show Me Your TDs. The two had met up just the week before in a defensive battle that was turned by a pair of interceptions late by Show Me Your TD's. The Mis-Conceptions were determined not to let this one be nearly as close. They worked all week on a ball control offense and on taking care of the ball. They spent tons of time watching Russell Wilson take control of the ball and throw the ball away so that they wouldn't repeat their mistakes from the week before. Their hard work paid off here as they pulled out a 27-12 win.

In the championship game, they went up against Sacks & Racks, who had beaten them 14-12 on a last minute touchdown. They learned from the first match-up and would unleash their pass rush in this one as Leslie A. would accumulate six sacks. The pressure that she put on their QB rattled him the whole game and would be the difference this time in picking up the championship.
