This match--up between the top two teams of the league featured lots of action and drama. They would meet up for the second time this season after squaring off in the opening week. In week #1, Footlong Tacos would squeak by with a three point victory led by several key receptions by Jennifer N.
The playoffs featured the same close game as these two veteran teams knew each others styles. Tom M. would lead the way for Tenacious D with two touchdowns and a pass rush that would produce three sacks. The Tenacious D execution on their extra points would make a huge difference in this game. The two point conversion on their last TD allowed them to go up 9 points and make it a two score game, just out of reach for Footlong Tacos.
Tom was the key piece in Tenacious D's two wins in their double header. In the first game, he led the team with two touchdowns and one extra point for a hard fought victory. He played in a significant role in their second game as well. Keep up the good work.
