Or is that just the competition? In Underdog Sports first ever BTB at Imperial lanes, one of the best bowling battles you will ever see took place. In two lopsided games that led to an all too close overall pinfall, The Busterz barely eeked out a 13 pin victory over Hell's Accountants. Statdog sends out a congrats to all our Imperial bowlers, but mainly the two teams in the championship, and well when you get down do it, I guess mainly just the Busterz.
After getting beat by 28 pins in the first of a best of two series, The Busterz needed some help, and big time. But who would step up to the plate? Why Barry Nishimura ofcourse. After a solid, but unspectacular 137 in his first game, Barry stepped it up big time and rolled a 174 to help his team take the 2nd game by 41, and the league championship by a mere 13 points.
This past Tuesday at Imperial Lanes, Barry Mishimura was a man on fire, or at least thats what his ball says. Anyway, Barry did manage two impressive games, rolling a 191 and then a 152 to win all 4 points in the Busterz matchup with the Mongolian War Helmets.
Busterz...what the dily yo? I'll tell what the dily is, Miye Moriguchi is about to break ya neck. This past Tuesday night Miye and her teammates rolled all over not one, but two teams at the same time. Miye was unstoppable bowling a 146 and a 144. Holla!
It was quite a week for Ben Halasz. He rolled up no less than three Turkeys over two games. Ben also had the best two game score in the league on Tuesday with a 340. With their second victory, Ben and his teammates have established themselves as the early favorites to win the league championship.
