Notes

First Place

Summer Co-ed Softball Queen Anne Sundays

With a very close semi-final against Team Sexxy, the Birddogs had to scratch their way into contention. After completing the task of beating Team Sexxy, they had to contend with top ranked Winner Buys Beer. Paul Derasio, Aaron Turner and Co. broke out some major aluminum. The sound out fake leather and expensive aluminum pinged througout the field.. The Birddogs held of Winner Buys Beer by one run and won the championship in their first season with Underdog.

Sunday, August 7

POTW: Paul delRosario

Birddogs

With power, stamina and great physical intimidation is how a championship shows he is a champion. Well in this case, Paul did it with speed, athleticism, and skill. He was not one to show what he did to you. He went, he conquered and then sat back down on the bench quietly. Those that are silent and succeed are more powerful than those who talk the walk, but don't walk it. Now you are more than likely thinking that a great athlete or coach said this, but no, I just made it up. Paul was a great leader on the field and even off when he wasn't fielding. Congrats Paul.

Honorable mention goes to Corrie and Laura from Urban Fitness and Serena from Winner Buys Beer.

Sunday, July 10

POTW: David Matsumoto

Birddogs

With a HR, a triple, and a double David became our player of the week this week. Adding to his impressive batting numbers, he also had 4 RBI's. When asked about his performance and the grand win that his team had, David said, "If you can react the same way to winning and losing, that's a big accomplishment. That quality is important because it stays with you the rest of your life, and there's going to be a life after softball that's a lot longer than your softball life." Well put David.
