After a very dissapointing finish to the late winter season, bowling as Big Ern's Kids, with a new name and a new attitude, Olssoned Out in the Middle of Nowhere earned themselves a number one seed for the playoffs and kept the bracket true to form by finishing off The Gutter Sluts, led by Kevin Meadors, in a thrilling final.
It has been a long time coming to bestow the honor of Player of the Week to Dino Dayao. He has been The Rock of Olssoned Out in the Middle of Nowhere and Big Ern's Kids as long as they have been around. This past Thursday was no exception as Dino came through in the clutch once again. With an open frame on the fifth, Dino was looking at a dissapointing 86, but then, what can only be seen as divine intervention, Dino was able to turn it around and roll five straight strikes to achieve a capped score which was enough to carry his team to victory.
