Riding her bike to the game uphill, in a driving rain, Jolene's back tire went flat. Undeterred, she braved the elements, pushing on toward the ultimate goal: a chance to play softball at the West Queen Anne Playfield. Though she arrived late to the game, she arrived just in time to provide the inspiration her team needed to win the game. Not only did her perseverance and dedication inspire her team, her stellar work at the plate led the charge as she went 3-5 in her team's 25-7 victory. Congratulations to the Master Batters and Jolene on a great game!
Congratulations Buck Schinners for earning this week's top honor of Player of the Week! Buck flashed his leather at shortstop several times in the Master Batter's 22 to 14 victory over the Responsible Kidz Wednesday night. Fittingly, it came down to Buck's diving stop in the bottom of the final inning to close out the Kidz in a well played match by both teams. Great job Buck!
