Eric gets player of the week for helping out his opponent when she popped her ankle. He is a trained paramedic and was kind enough to assist her and make sure that she was alright. She tweaked her ankle pretty bad and he handled the situation calmly and with total control. I and Christina were personally grateful for his help. Sometimes we have to honor our player for not just what they do on the field but what they do off the field. And that is why I think Eric is very deserving of player of the week.
From Team BS, Wesley Seeman has earned player of the week honors. Wesley was great on defense and routinely caught pop outs like it was a walk in the park. His greatest contribution however came on the offensive side of the ball where compiled multiple hits when he came up to kick. His best kick came in the middle innings when he crushed a 3 run homerun allowing to clear the bases and give himself enough time to get home. This is a performance we will look forward to seeing in the playoffs where it counts big time.
