Monday night beach volleyball at Golden Gardens was full of action, especially for The Berenstain Bears. Their night consisted of three back-to-back matches to reach the championship round - but that did not phase the team. Showing no signs of tiredness after the three hours of play, the Bears were able to bump, set, and spike their way to becoming champions. The team was able to show off their skills and grit through the night, definitely making them worthy of their win. Congratulations Berenstain Bears - you earned it!
Michael Brewer of The Berenstain Bears should be a high-class waiter with the way he serves on the court! The team knew they could rely on Michael to deliver a powerhouse serve each time he stepped behind the end line. His power was especially handy in the three hours of playing the team went through. It almost seemed as if he could serve aces all night long! Congratulations, Michael, on winning the championship match and being player of the week!
