First Place

Summer Softcore Kickball at Ballard Boys & Girls Club T/TH

No one could predict what was going to go down at Ballard Boys and Girls Club on thursday! Working their way from the bottom to the top, Entercommies took on the other teams with full force. A true Cinderella story. Mike Kaplan was a definite contributor to their success with all his catches and runs against Picture me Rollin' for the final match.
Weed Eaters also did some justice against Off in the Woods. Knocking out the number one seed to take hold of 3rd place. Jesse Rinehart can take credit for making a lot of their runs.

Thursday, August 5

POTW: Mike Kaplan

Entercommies

Mike is so amazing, I don't even know where to start. This guy came to the field game faced and ready! He made a wicked finger tip catch on the run, something a normal person wouldn't have been able to reach! He had doubles, he made runs... this guy is just too freakin' good, he can do anything!

Tuesday, July 27

POTW: Joe Hammill

Entercommies

Well it was evident from the start that KPG Mafia did not get the scouting report on Entercommies Joe Hammill. From the start of the game Joe was in control with his pitching. Minus the first inning his curve ball and changeup was able to hold down their opponents to two runs for six innings. Joe's play was not limited to just his pitching as he was able to turn an infield single into a three run homerun. Joe's masterful performance was able to lead Entercommies to the most runs of the season and a playoff win, which was only there second win of the season. Way to go Joe and Entercommies saving your best play for the playoffs. Good luck the rest of the way!

Tuesday, July 20

POTW: Adrienne Sellers

Entercommies

Adrienne was a star for the Entercommies. Her offense was quite impressive, as she suprised Weed Eater's a couple of times with her booming kicks to the outfield. However, Adrienne's defense at second base out shined her offense by getting to any ball close to her. Nothing was more evident then in the fifth inning when she made a bobbling one handed catch, a play that is usually seen on ESPN's Top Ten Plays. This play was so impressive that the only thing the Weed Eater's could do was applaud. Even though her team went down in defeat, Adrienne could only smile knowing she had done everything she could that day.

Thursday, July 8

POTW: Oliver Anderson

Entercommies

Nothing could get through the brick wall that Oliver Anderson brought to Thursday night's game against the Peace Corps Players Posse. Play after play, Oliver relentlessly shut down the opposing team's offense with spectacular diving catches and throws at 3rd base. His defense helped keep the Players Posse to only run and proved to be one of the biggest reasons for his team's success. Nice job Oliver!
