Matt Penna from Off In The Woods proved to be the deciding factor of the regular season championship game, giving Off In The Woods the lead in the division after being tied with their opponents, KPG Rushing Mafia. Matt had stellar kicks all night long that propelled his team to victory by a score of 13-10 and hopefully will continue to do so deep into the playoffs! Nice game Matt!
Tuesday night brought what appeared to be late magic against Off In The Woods until Andrea Worchowski stepped onto the playing field. After a quick rally by their opponents to make the game close, Andrea made an amazing acrobatic catch to help close out the final inning of the game. Way to go Andrea for helping your team to another victory and not beating Off In The Woods!
An intimidating, cool confidence reflected from the face of player of the week Chris Wheeler. His teammate, standing in awe, proclaimed Chris to have "the look in his eye," and this player of notorious strength kicked a double worthy of a home run because of its distance, ferocity, strength, potency, sinew, vigor, and capacity. It was a pretty good kick. Nice game Chris!
This weeks player of the week goes to Tom Specht for his superb play in the outfield. Tom made catch after catch racking up outs against his opponent! It was the bottom of the 8th where he came up big with the final 3 outs of the game to help his team get the tie as opposed to the loss! Great job Tom!
