Sets on the Beach came together in victory this week. The team's outstanding ball control, quickness, and effort was incredible to watch. The stregnth of their serves in combination with dominance at the net was what ultimately led them to victory! Great team work and energy everyone!!!
Kevin Wang on Sets on the Beach made a powerful impression in the championship match this week and scored his way to victory. His vivacity on the court together with his strength, height, and spectacular hops proved formidable. Kevin laid on the heat with his rocket-like attacks and overall dominance on the net. It was great to watch him compete and to help his team achieve victory this season. Great work Kevin!
Mikey was energized and ready to play hard this week. His endurance helped his team throughout the playoffs, and it was his speed and ball control that proved useful to his teammates. Mikey's fiery attacks should also be noted, as he was a dominating force above the net. His overall performance was entertaining to watch, and he also showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the night. Great job Mikey!
Brendan is a very talented volleyball player. He plays for one of the strongest teams in the division and is a great asset to his team. Brendan's hits are well paced, full of technique, and powerful. While his setting isn't the best, he is on court with a great attitude and sense of humor. Great job Brendan! See you next week
Kevin is a silent power. His demeanor is calm but his plays are strong and terrifying. Throughout the game he received kill after kill, ace after ace. Destroying the game and all the volleyballs. Kevin also has a strong love for the team and sport, he always remains sportsmanlike and supportive of every move. Great job tonight Kevin! See you next week.
