Notes

First Place

Spring Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Playfield Sundays

In the mid-core championship two great teams faced off for the title, Ruining Mondays and Kick Me in the Jimmy. Both teams well rounded and no stranger to the diamond. It was ruining Mondays that jump out on top first and never looked back. Kick Me in the Jimmy started a couple of rallies to get themselves back into the game, but they were soon denied with tough double plays, slowing their run count. Both teams played great defense, but Ruining Mondays was a bit more powerful on offense! Great job to both teams!

POTW: Nate Bassich

Ruining Mondays

This weeks player of the week goes to the quiet efforts of Nate Bassich. On a team full of passion, who express for all to hear, Nate quietly did his thing to help his team bring home the Championship. Any kick that was in his direction was run down and caught, with accurate throws keeping runners stationary. His kicks drove in plenty of runs with well placed balls and a couple of homers to make the difference in 2 good games. Great job Nate!
