The Smelt Dippers owned the court last night, with their loud cheering section rooting them on toss by toss. The first round game between the Smelt Dippers and How do my Balls Taste, The Dippers controled the match winning 8-1 and advancing to the semi-finals.
In theSemi's the Dippers got their first test of the night facing the tough Firecrackers. A dominating performance from Alex Levanti helped the Smelt Dippers prevail 6-3. Next up the Finals.
In the finals the Smelt Dippers faced the number 2 seeded Dorran's Human Sheild. Just like the Smelt Dippers, Doran's Huma Sheild cruised into the finals with wins of 7-1, and 8-2. With Dorran's Human Sheild striking first with the first win, the Dippers responed by winning the next 4. They then put on the cruise control and coasted to the 6-4 championship win. Congrats Smelt Dippers
This is a no brainer to anyone who watched tonights games. Dan Lincoln, was Mr. MVP. Every time you turned around he was there making an incredible catch or showing off his gun of an arm picking off the opponents one by one. He was a true leader on the court guiding the Smelt Dippers to the championship. Great Job Dan!!
Nicole gets player of the week for having a solid week as well as hitting her teammate (who also happened to be her husband) in the back of the head with a dodgeball. Now that takes talent.
